This is my personal Banjo Uke Circa 1940

I'm letting it go to a better home because I don't play it enough.

It started life as an up-market GH&S Banjo Mandolin which I converted to a Banjo Uke.

It has an amazing sound & is very easy to play.

It's fitted with a Remo Fiberskin head (cost $100) & Aquila stings.

Geared tuners (cost $65)

I'm selling it for what it cost me in parts to build

A real bargain at

Banjo Corner

Albert & Sons

J Albert & Sons were Australian importers of musical instruments.

This banjo from around 1930s – 1940s would have been their “top of the range” 5 string.

It can be an Open back or Resonator style.

Its quality & sound is equivalent to a Gibson & it’s in mainly original condition.

It has an unique tone ring (pictured) which produces a fantastic tone.

In over 50yrs of banjo collecting this is the first one I’ve see.
