John is an amazing, charming, warm and talented lutheir. I had a 70 year old banjomandolin that had been quoted for repairs of between $600 and $1000 when I remembered a referral from a friend to go and see John...so glad I did. John did such a quality job of fully restoring and converting my banjomandolin into a banjoukulele for only $300. I am blown away and happily and highly endorse John's craftsmanship. He has lots of instruments to sell as well. Get quotes from anywhere you like and then see John

John helped me with my electric guitar project. He was an absolute champ from start to finish. John is an encyclopedia of knowledge who is not afraid to share as I learnt a thing or two! Extremely happy with the service/price.

Just bought a beautiful fdh circa1940 banjolele from john today. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with someone who has such a passion for his instruments. If you are looking for a quality instrument be sure to see john first. A true gentleman.

I met John several months ago to restore my 1920's banjo uke. I was so happy with his work that I have become quite a regular, taking another banjolele to him and also purchasing an instrument.

I've finally found someone in this country who really knows how to fix a five-string banjo. Best of all, his expertise doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
