Martin 018 1926  SOLD

Reduced to $4,500 with a softshell hard case - plus postage

This guitar has an amazing sound and is extremely easy to play. It’s also a great investment as pre-war Martins have greatly increased in value over the years.

This is my favourite guitar out of my collection of over 40 guitars. Unfortunately I have had to sell a few to fund another project.

The intenseness of this guitar slowly enters your brain, and the fun starts, 'good' in a reference to 'new' guitars is a understatement to start with.

It’s one of the best sounding instruments and a tone description is simply impossible to put down in writing.

If you want to know what 'open up' means, play a 90+ year old guitar, it's dynamically matured to a level were comparing is no longer possible. It's of course balanced and powerful, every single note is pronounced, the liveliness of the guitar is almost like a living thing in your hands.

Some features: Honduras mahogany back/sides/neck, Adirondack spruce top, ebony fingerboard, 632mm (24.9") scale length, 46mm (1 13/16") nut width, slot head, original waverly 3 on a plate tuners, (new screws) tonally it's a resonant monster, punchy when strummed, warm and rounded in a way only a vintage instrument can sound. Whatever style you choose it sounds great.

Everybody that plays this says it's their "favourite guitar".
